Colorado Red Rocks
Mixed Media/ Fiber 8"W x 10" L
The Garden of the Gods has been a special place for me for many years. I used to work nearby and I would take my lunch and sit outside enjoying the magnificent view of Colorado red rocks. There are numerous places in Colorado and New Mexico that have equally beautiful views, but this view is one of my favorites. I enjoy making these small works that are quicker to create but stoke my creative energy. Colorado Red Rocks was sold to another lover of this famous view. Sold

Night at the Museum
Mixed Media/Fiber 24" W x 18" L I often watched the light change in this iconic Denver location. This nighttime interpretation of the plaza around the art museum shows a bit of mystery around enjoying the night in the city. City shapes, shadows, and lights are intriguing to me. I want the viewer to experience the concreteness of buildings versus the ephemeral feel of people in the nighttime city landscape. $400

Ghost Ranch Cliffs
Mixed Media Fiber 20" W x 24" L
There is a special place in Northern New Mexico called The Ghost Ranch. I am not sure why the native people called it this name but now it has become a place for artists to study and hike. It was originally owned by Georgia O’Keefe and she willed the land to the Presbyterian Church. I spent a week there studying painting techniques and hiking almost every morning. The views are beautiful. It makes no difference the direction you choose to look. These cliffs and their sheer majesty attracted me, and I did a quick watercolor sketch and returned home to create this fiber art piece. $480

South Fork
Mixed Media/Fiber 20" W x 14" L There is a beautiful spot in South west Colorado called South Fork. The small town is named after the river that runs through it. I had the privilege of spending a couple days in a cabin that overlooks the river It had been a very rainy spring, so the river ran extremely high and the sound of rushing water was mesmerizing. I painted several watercolor and used ink as well as the paints’ while sitting on the deck overlooking the river. When I returned home, I created this mixed media piece. $320
