Denver’s Painted Ladies

Mixed Media/Fiber      32 “W x 38″ L

Most of us have seen the iconic photograph of the row of Victorian houses found in San Francisco. Along Delaware Street in the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Denver there is also a row of old Victorian style houses. Across the street is the court house and the county jail is around the corner. These once stately homes now house an array of bail bondsman. I can image their former glory, long before the modern temples of justice were built. I played with shape and color to honor their former glory before they became a place for the 24 hour a day bail bonding business took them over.   $1,300
